dab-dab
Help & Support
Hi — I'm the maker of dab-dab. If something isn't working, or you just have a question, the quickest way to reach me is a short email: reveriearchive.studio@gmail.com. I read every one. Below are the answers people ask for most.
Restore a purchase
Already unlocked dab-dab+ and don't see it after reinstalling or on a new device? Open dab-dab → Settings → Restore purchase (or tap Restore on the unlock screen). Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with, and it'll come right back.
Manage or cancel dab-dab+
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, so you manage them in iOS Settings: tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → dab-dab+. From there you can switch between monthly and yearly, or cancel. Your access stays until the end of the period you've already paid for. The lifetime unlock is a one-time purchase — nothing renews.
The free trial
The yearly plan opens with a 7-day free trial. If it's not for you, cancel any time before the trial ends (Settings → your name → Subscriptions → dab-dab+) and you won't be charged. To be safe, cancel at least 24 hours before the 7 days are up.
Your journal & a new phone
dab-dab keeps everything on your device — no account, no cloud — on purpose. Your pages are part of your iPhone's backup (iCloud or your computer), so when you set up a new phone from that backup, your journal comes with it. The one thing to know: because nothing is stored anywhere else, a regular backup is what keeps your pages safe — there's no copy on a server for me to recover.
The daily reminder
The gentle once-a-day nudge is optional and scheduled right on your phone. Turn it on or off, or change the time, in Settings → Daily nudge. If it isn't arriving, check that notifications are allowed for dab-dab in iOS Settings → Notifications → dab-dab.
Something not working?
Found a bug, or a page that won't open? Email me with your iPhone model and iOS version and a quick description of what happened — I'll get on it. (Your journal stays on your device and I can't see it, so the more detail you share, the faster I can help.)
Privacy
dab-dab collects nothing — no account, no cloud, no analytics, no tracking. The full details are in the Privacy Policy. Subscription terms are covered by Apple's Standard EULA.
However small the page, I'm glad you're keeping it.
